Since I've been watching a marathon of Law & Order literally all day, I figured why not blog about one of my awesome couples who I playfully like to refer to as "Law & Order". Alexandra is a gorgeous attorney and her equally adorable fiance Jim is in law enforcement. Are they perfect or what?! After lots of emails back and forth for months and months, I was so pleased to finally meet them for their engagement session at the Kennedy Center in DC a couple of weeks ago. And with their wedding coming up in just 6 days at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, you will be seeing a lot more of them very soon! :)

I've been a bit behind schedule in my blogging after shooting 3 weddings in 8 days in 3 different states but I'm now slowly but surely catching up. The last of those three weddings brought me to Short Hills, NJ to work with Laura and Anton, a wonderful couple who were referred to me by Bershan and David whose wedding I shot a few months back in DC (scroll back through the blog a bit to see). A big thank you to Stephanie Reinish for coming out to shoot with me, it was a fun day and a really great party. Ceremony: Saint Mary's Armenian Church, Livingston NJ Reception: Short Hills Hilton And thank you also to Bershan and David for giving me a ride back into NYC the following day, for letting me hang out at your gorgeous loft and for feeding me all of that champagne before my flight back to

When I heard from Carin & Perry for the first time earlier this year, I was so excited to hear that they were planning a wedding at Marvimon House, a venue that I had been admiring from afar for some time already. I was sure that we would get along great for that reason alone and how right I was. So on July 3rd, I headed over to the Millenium Biltomore in downtown LA to start with a few portraits of the two of them. After that it was onto Chinatown and then finally to Marvimon for the rest of the evening. Thank you to Franny for being an awesome assistant and to Chelsea Elizabeth for second shooting.

Boy have I just been an editing machine these days and I still have tons of new shoots to blog so here is the 3rd and final part of Bershan & David's beautiful wedding. This part includes the reception which was held at the US Chamber of Commerce. Bershan changed into dress #2 halfway through the reception and they shared a "2nd dance". Legendary floral designer Preston Bailey was in attendance at this wedding and I finally had the pleasure of meeting him. David gave a beautiful toast to his bride as his son Jack comforted Bershan. So sweet! I have still have 4 unblogged engagement sessions from the past few weeks so check back soon for more.

Well I'm back safe and sound in LA and there is a lot going on here. Yesterday, Ellen and I signed a lease on a new loft studio space that we are going to be sharing so that means lots of furniture shopping and decorating and moving computers around etc. I'm excited to post some pictures of the space as it comes together. More of that to come soon. But today I want to bring you part 2 of Bershan & David's fabulous DC wedding last weekend. Did Regina do an amazing job on this ceremony decor or what? It's quite a view from the rooftop of the Hay Adams. I especially love this one of Bershan's dad right before the ceremony. It was an extremely beautiful and emotional ceremony Hope you enjoy these and I'll be back soon with part 3!
