On a rather ominous-looking Sunday afternoon, the clouds parted, the sun came out and I met Kendall & Keith at Glen Echo Park for their engagement session. Since we had never actually met before, the 3 of us sat down at a picnic table for a chat and it wasn't long before the laughs were flowing and they had completely charmed me. Kendall, I must say that you write some of the most appreciative emails I have received. So excited to see you both again in November! And thank you to Jen Stiebel of SoCo Events for hooking us up. It was just like a blind date gone very very right.

I never got to meet Jacquelyn & Clinton until the day of their wedding but they could not have been more lovely if they had tried. Everything about this wedding was elegant and warm and friendly and calm, including the couple and both of their families. I enjoyed the entire day immensely. A big thank you to Jen Stiebel of SoCo Events for bringing us together and to Christina Masters for coming all the way up from North Carolina to 2nd shoot with me! Ceremony Venue: Grace Episcopal Church in Georgetown Reception Venue: The Willard Hotel Wedding Gown: Amsale Jacquelyn was totally channeling Audrey Hepburn, classic and gorgeous! Jacquelyn had these lockets with photos of her grandparents attached to her bouquet. Jacquelyn gave Clinton a beautiful watch as a wedding day gift. And until this delicious treat was delivered to the Jenny Lind Suite, I had no idea that Jacquelyn's wedding day was also her birthday. :) Checking

I’m on Perez Hilton today…
Well not me exactly because let's be honest, aside from my family, a few close friends and my dog Oliver, very few people really care enough what I'm doing on a daily basis to actually gossip about me. But I was sort of tickled to receive an email from my friend Jen Stiebel in DC who told me that one of my pictures of Palmdale is posted on PerezHiton.com today. Shelby & Brad’s wedding album
Here is another one I just finished. Shelby and Anna (from the previously blogged album) are pals which always makes things fun. Shelby and Brad are a wonderful and adorable couple who were married at the famous Willard Hotel in Washington DC on July 5th, 2008. My amazing associate Jenni Green shot this with me.
