As I wind down 2011 I am determined to blog every single wedding that I've shot this year. And although I've been a bit behind, taking a little trip back down memory lane to revisit all of my fall weddings all over again feels like visiting with old friends I haven't seen in a while. So when I peaked through my folder of images from Joanne & David's wedding, I was all smiles all over again to see these two. They seriously could not have been more lovely to work with and it was just one of those days that was bursting with happiness. It was great to be back at The Reagan Building which is a super cool and modern Washington DC venue and I loved the sleek yet chic black, white and red decor. Just fabulous all around. Thank you to Stephen Gosling for coming out to shoot

This session almost didn't happen. I drove into DC under some rather ominous-looking storm clouds which had intermittently been spewing rain and gloomyness over the DC area for most of the afternoon. I sat in my rental car parked just off of M Street in Georgetown, now and then sticking my arm out the window to see if the rain had stopped while I texted to Laviana who was doing the same thing just blocks away. Luckily for all of us involved, the sun started to poke through and we managed to get the weather we had been hoping for. This was my first meeting with Laviana and Zach, who could not be more adorable if they tried. So after a quick latte at La Madeleine, we wandered around Georgetown for a bit, along the canal and then down to Washington Harbor, which I was very glad to see was

Jane & Mark’s Wedding – Part 2
I had better get back to blogging some weddings since I already have 2 more in the pipeline to share. So here is part 2 of Jane & Mark's gorgeous DC wedding. There's just something so lovely about a wedding that blends classic style with modern sensibility and these two pulled it off flawlessly. Jane paired her mother's vintage wedding veil with a new gown from Hitched. The couple held their ceremony at Dahlgren Chapel for a traditional, historic feel and The Reagan Building served as the perfect location for a contemporary reception complete with a fresh, modern color palette of black, white and green. Loved every minute of this wedding. Enjoy! Jenni hung out with the guys while I was photographing the girls and grabbed this adorably fun sequence of Mark and his groomsmen. Mark and the guys wore these great lego cufflinks...so cute and so unique. Wedding Coordinator: Bella Notte Gown: Hitched Floral

Jane & Mark’s Wedding – Bridal Prep
I already posted the video/ slideshow from this wedding so now it's time to just post some images. First up, Jane's bridal prep. I was so happy to see my own wedding day hair and makeup team back together again. Leah McKay and Giselle Chreky never disappoint and Jane looked absolutely stunning. Gown from Hitched. When I saw that Jane was going to wear her mother's wedding veil, I just about died. It was so beautiful and such a nice vintage touch. I love this sequence of Jane and her parents. Can you say STUNNING?! The ceremony was held in Dahlgren Chapel at Georgetown University so we had to grab a few fun wedding party portraits in the classrooms. That's all for now, I'll be back soon with more...

Jane & Mark’s Wedding Slideshow
I'm super stoked today to share with you today the slideshow from Jane & Mark's lovely Washington DC wedding at Dahlgren Chapel and The Reagan Building. This was the first wedding where I've attempted to shoot a little bit of video with my Canon 5D Mark II, even though I've owned the camera for well over a year. Sometimes it takes a little while to adjust to new technology. I tend to run out and buy the new thing right away and then have to slowly figure out how on earth to actually use it. Jane & Mark's wedding from Justine Ungaro on Vimeo. A big thanks to all of the other vendors who made this wedding a big success! Coordinator - Sara Bauleke of Bella Notte Makeup - Leah McKay Hair - Giselle Chreky Gown - Hitched Florals - Yellow Door Cake - Fluffy Thoughts I'm considering offering this as an additional wedding service so if you are
