I first became acquainted with Mike Eller when I stumbled across his beautiful wedding film-making in the planning of my own wedding back in 2008. Perhaps one week later I had booked him and so started what has turned out to be a truly beautiful friendship and working relationship. What a pleasure it was for me to return the favor in photographing his wedding to the most darling girl in the world and his long-term love, Chelsea at Brittland Manor in Chestertown, Maryland. The wedding day weather looked ominous in the morning but held out for a beautifully emotional outdoor ceremony followed by a tented reception. The day was sprinkled with the most charming and delicate of details which have already been featured over on 100 Layer Cake.

Okay I know that in my last post I announced that I was going to attempt to blog every day until I got caught up...and I didn't. But this time it actually wasn't by choice. I helped my sister move into a new apartment this week and she doesn't have internet yet so I've been sponging off the neighbors as much as possible...sometimes I can jump online just long enough to download my emails but usually not long enough to actually respond to any of them. So instead I've been answering emails from my iPhone which is rather tedious. So blogging hasn't exactly been on the top of my priority list. But it seems that I have connected to someone's internet so I'm hoping it will last long enough to upload some pictures for a new blog post...finally. Because I'm super excited to bring this wedding to you. The wedding of
For those of you who don't know me, I got married last October. Of course my wedding was 10 months ago now but I just love weddings so much that I can't help but totally immerse myself in them and for that reason I read lots of wedding blogs. I even write one called The Unbride which is due for a relaunch any day now. But I like to visit other wedding bloggers whom I consider to be my internet friends even though I've never met most of them. So today I popped in to visit Style Me Pretty to see what was going on there. And what did I find? Me! :) My own wedding video by the very talented guys at Monachetti was featured today. So I sat there and watched it and relived that amazing day once again. So I figured why not share it here. If you
Today I bring to you the 3rd engagement session I've shot in the past 4 days...yes I've been a busy little bee. But that's what happens when you travel coast to coast, if anything it keeps me on my toes. :) I actually met Andrew on my own wedding day when he arrived along with Mike Eller from Monachetti, our now legendary wedding videographers. I actually never met either of them until our wedding day so all of you brides out there, don't feel bad if you can't always have an in-person meeting with your vendors. It's great if you can but it's just not always possible so trust your instincts and do whatever is comfortable for you. After my wedding and after the months that passed, my husband Gary and I got to hang out with Andrew a few times in LA. Over a particularly memorable evening of margaritas & mexican
