Well, I still have quite a stock-pile of of weddings and portrait sessions to share here as well as the most exciting studio news EVER but all of that can wait just a little bit longer. Heehee. For now I just wanted to take a moment to share another recent magazine showing off some of my gorgeous clients. Exquisite Weddings published by San Diego Magazine is a really beautiful publication and I was just tickled pink that they wanted to share Sarika & Prabhu's Indian wedding extravaganza which I shot last September....and which ultimately ended in Gary and I getting our new (not so new now) puppy, Daphne.

I almost cried when I ready what Sarika & Prabhu wrote about me on their wedding website, it was just so so sweet. "Picking a photographer is somewhat of an intensive process. We came up with a list of our top 60 photographers located both in California and Washington DC and slowly whittled away until we came up with our number one. Which unsurprisingly was the first one Sarika found and contacted, Justine! It was so important to have someone we felt we could be friends with, someone that was able to capture the emotion as well as the moments of the day and most importantly, capture the essence of us. In a few minutes I will be heading out to photograph part 2 of Sarika & Prabhu's indian wedding extravaganza. I shot the wedding ceremony and reception in San Diego 2 weeks ago and today they are celebrating with all of their Washington DC friends and family and I am lucky enough to be there for both. So before I run out the door, I thought it might be fun to post a couple of previews. Hope you enjoy! At the beginning of the ceremony, Prabhu had a silk scarf held in front of his face so that he couldn't see Sarika until the very last moment. When the scarf was dropped, they were both supposed to "toss" rice on one another. These two decided to literally pelt one-another.
