A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting Amy & George's gorgeous, elegant wedding at Dahlgren Chapel & The Reagan Building. These two make such a lovely delightful couple and had a lot of reasons to celebrate considering that they both just graduated from medical school. Needless to say, everyone was in a great mood and although the weather had been rather miserable in the days leading up to their wedding day, on June 6th, the clouds parted and it could not have been more gorgeous. I also got to work with some familiar faces which is always fun: Floral Design: Multiflor Video: Beth, Blue Sky Films We started the day at the Key Bridge Marriott, where some of my guests stayed for my own wedding. Today I bring to you the 3rd engagement session I've shot in the past 4 days...yes I've been a busy little bee. But that's what happens when you travel coast to coast, if anything it keeps me on my toes. :) I actually met Andrew on my own wedding day when he arrived along with Mike Eller from Monachetti, our now legendary wedding videographers. I actually never met either of them until our wedding day so all of you brides out there, don't feel bad if you can't always have an in-person meeting with your vendors. It's great if you can but it's just not always possible so trust your instincts and do whatever is comfortable for you. Well I'm back safe and sound in LA and there is a lot going on here. Yesterday, Ellen and I signed a lease on a new loft studio space that we are going to be sharing so that means lots of furniture shopping and decorating and moving computers around etc. I'm excited to post some pictures of the space as it comes together. More of that to come soon. But today I want to bring you part 2 of Bershan & David's fabulous DC wedding last weekend. Did Regina do an amazing job on this ceremony decor or what? It's quite a view from the rooftop of the Hay Adams. I especially love this one of Bershan's dad right before the ceremony. It was an extremely beautiful and emotional ceremony Hope you enjoy these and I'll be back soon with part 3!
