For photographers seeking a portfolio review, pricing consultation or just a general push in the right direction to rework their own businesses, I offer one-time coaching as well as ongoing mentoring sessions. These may be held via iChat, Skype, telephone or at my studio if you happen to be in the LA area. Mentor sessions are billed at the rate of $200 per 30 minutes.
How long have you been shooting? I have been a full-time professional photographer since 2003.
Canon or Nikon? Canon. I do actually use the Rollei sometimes as well. I think film is dreamy.
Primes or Zooms? Both. (24mm f/1.4, 35mm f/1.4, 50mm f/1.2, 85mm f/1.2, 45mm f/2.8 T/S, 17mm f/4 T/S, 50mm Macro, 15mm Fisheye, 16-35mm f/2.8, 24-70mm f/2.8, 70-200mm f/2.8)
Do I recommend you go and buy all of those lenses? No, I am just lens crazy.
Where do you actually live? I live in Los Angeles but I’m originally from Washington DC & I still travel there a lot for work.
Is your studio available to rent? Not at the moment but if we’re friends you might be able to bribe me with sushi.
Where can I see you speak?
