Okay I know...I am super behind on blogging lately. But it's not my fault this time. The logic board of my MacBook Pro suddenly died last Friday and had to go in for repairs. So I was laptop-less for almost a week...and I suffered immensely over it. But last night I picked up my baby and it is as good as new. So as I prepare all of the blog posts that I owe this blog, here's one to tide you over until I can get my act together. The wonderful and talented Janie Medley (who was also my wedding florist) was kind enough to feature one of my weddings on The Bride's Cafe today so be sure to head on over there to check it out.

This post is a little late coming on my part but only because this shoot was squeezed in at the last minute on my last trip to DC a few weeks ago but I am finally thrilled to bring you the adorable and spunky Bonham Family; Darah, Julie, Riley & Reese. I actually still struggle to call Darah "Darah" because I have been calling him "Coach" for so many years that it's a habit that is tough to break. So for a little background, "Coach Bonham" was my lacrosse coach back in high school. He was about 10 years older than we were which meant that we thought he was incredibly old at the time. And now thinking back I can only imagine what the terror of having 20 16 and 17 year old girls harassing you all the time may have felt like. And harass him we did. We

Laguna Beach Art Gallery
So it's Labor Day weekend and Gary and I are hiding out inside today from the heat and smoke and traffic and all of the rest of the CA nonsense we're having at the moment. But all of this didn't stop us from heading down to Laguna Beach on Friday to attend the grand opening of our good friend, Naomi's new art gallery, Arin Contemporary. And what an incredible time it was! Rob Wynne one of our favorite artists was showing and I finally got to meet him and tell him all about how my whole photography brand was built around one of his genius embroidered paintings. And I also finally got to see it in person and I must say that I really really want it...and I will have it sooner or later. :) As if Friday night wasn't lovely enough on it's own, we stayed at our favorite little haunted

Lisa Loeb on The Knot
Well I'm in DC right now getting ready for a lovely wedding coming up this weekend in Charlottesville, VA this weekend. But before I left, there was a mad scramble to get some images from the wedding of my good friends Lisa and Roey (which I shot back in January along with my good friends from SOTA Dzine) to Rebecca from The Knot for this adorable little video interview they just posted.
