Apologies for the lame-est blog post ever, especially when I have hardly blogged any work recently. But we have been hard at work processing fall weddings, churning out albums and shooting holiday sessions. The inquiries are still rolling in but I'm afraid that we are fully booked for the year and unable to accept any more clients for 2013. But we would love to hear from you for portrait sessions & weddings to take place in 2014. Our wedding calendar is about 60% booked up for the year so we still have some openings but they are going faster than usual. Please be sure to email us with your date as soon as you have one. Can't wait to see all sorts of new faces and places in the new year!! xoxo, Justine & Colette

Yes, I know you've barely gotten past Halloween and you're not even really thinking about Thanksgiving just yet but the time of year is upon is holiday card time! Every year I think that I'm going to send out something brilliant and amazing and just knock the socks off of everyone I know. And every year I realize that I don't even have a freaking picture to send. How sad is that? The cobblers kids have no shoes, and I have no pictures. But that's how it goes. But, to all of my lovely clients whom I photographed this year, you DO have pictures. Lucky you. ;) And if you would like some help putting together an awesome holiday card to wow all of your friends and family then I am here to help. And this year I am particularly jealous because I am offering a line of gorgeous

It's hard to believe that I had never actually met either Meredith or Pat before their wedding day...because I definitely felt like I knew them, and knew them well. I suppose that's why it all felt so easy, swooping into the wedding day of a family I'm already involved with and invested in. My lovely bride Meredith is the practically identical sister of my great friend/ 2nd shooting wedding prodigy Jenni Green. And what a delight it was to spend this day with their family, full of lots of laughs and lots of tears...just like any good wedding should be...and immaculately designed by Jenni herself who these days is doing amazing things as an art director over at Living Social. Sprinkled throughout with creative details in green and turquoise, this wedding was a blast to shoot and I was very lucky to have my good friend Nicole Wolf along to 2nd

I'm super stoked today to share with you today the slideshow from Jane & Mark's lovely Washington DC wedding at Dahlgren Chapel and The Reagan Building. This was the first wedding where I've attempted to shoot a little bit of video with my Canon 5D Mark II, even though I've owned the camera for well over a year. Sometimes it takes a little while to adjust to new technology. I tend to run out and buy the new thing right away and then have to slowly figure out how on earth to actually use it. Jane & Mark's wedding from Justine Ungaro on Vimeo. A big thanks to all of the other vendors who made this wedding a big success! Coordinator - Sara Bauleke of Bella Notte Makeup - Leah McKay Hair - Giselle Chreky Gown - Hitched Florals - Yellow Door Cake - Fluffy Thoughts I'm considering offering this as an additional wedding service so if you are
