Bio

A 2nd generation wedding photographer, Justine Ungaro was raised in the Washington DC area, graduated from VA Tech with a degree in Philosophy, began her photography career in 2003 and moved to Los Angeles in 2006. Known for her classic and elegant photography, Justine now photographs 20 weddings annually all over the US and abroad as well as child and family portraiture in the LA area.

Justine has become an active photographer educator, having given platform presentations at the DWF Convention and Mystic Seminars as well as 4 sessions of her own workshop, The Modern Portrait. She was awarded 3rd place in the Bride & Groom Together category at WPPI in 2010 and is a 2 time ISES (International Special Events Society) Esprit Award winner.

Justine is married to Gary Kordan, a television production designer. They live in Studio City with their two dogs, Oliver and Daphne.

Justine is one of the photographer judges on the reality show webisode series Shutter Wars.
