I've had to sit on this fabulous wedding for about a year so that it would be nice & fresh upon publication. But I am so excited to announce that Kendall & Keith's stunningly gorgeous wedding at Congressional Country Club is featured in the winter issue of Inside Weddings Magazine. I was thrilled to work with an incredible team listed below and spearheaded by Jen Stiebel of SoCo Events. Also a big thank you to Tara Welch for 2nd shooting this one with me! Check it out!

Palm Springs is one of my absolute favorite places on the planet to photograph a wedding. A mini city in the middle of the dessert, it is just the visual aesthetic that I love, mid-century modern everything...does it get any better than that?! I also love the kinds of weddings that happen here....the kind where stylish simplicity meets glamour. The perfect blend of intimacy and a real party...not too big, not to small. Eliza & Justin's gorgeous bash was no exception. After getting ready at The Parker the ceremony and reception were held at Villa Carmelita, famous for being the lovenest of Sonny & Cher. And I got to work with a truly incredible team: Wedding Coordinator: Celebrations of Joy Catering: Jennifer's Fine Foods Rentals: Signature Party Rentals Makeup: Ten Eleven Makeup
2012 has definitely been the year of photographing the families of my past wedding clients. I'm not sure how many this year but there were a lot and I will try to blog all of them...and then I will count them. One of the greatest things about photographing both weddings and portraits is that I get to watch all of these amazing people whom I truly adore join their lives together and then watch their families grow and change over the years. I photographed Amy & John's wedding way back in 2004 in Easton, Maryland and I was so excited when they got in touch about shooting some portraits of the whole family while they vacationed together in Sonoma over the summer. Here is one of my faves of the whole group.
