Just days after I returned from Boston for Jenn & Josh’s wedding, I recharged my body and repacked my gear to shoot the wedding of yet another photographer, Mher and his lovely bride Atina. This was to be my first Armenian wedding and boy was it fun! I loved the cool, casual style, fun traditions and high energy that these long-term loves brought to their wedding for 300 guests at their home in Northridge. An extended portrait session, heartfelt toasts and tons of dancing made it a real pleasure to photograph…not to mention the totally gorgeous peacock-themed color palette. And I was thrilled to have the incredible CK Hwang along as my 2nd shooter for the day.

I started my day at Atina’s mom’s house with the ladies and CK with the guys. Enjoy!

A little rendezvous with the ice cream truck helped to cool everyone off.

Hello Justine, Greetings from London, UK. I love your style. Also, very much enjoyed listening to your interview with Queensberry. If you ever find yourself in London, I hope you’ll look me up!

How fierce is their style?! I love her headpeice and his vest!

  5. So, so engaging. I especially like how the “formals” are put together and polished, but not stiff or stuff. Love that hugging couple in the group photo. Thanks for sharing!
