Kirkland Manor Wedding – Lisa & Jon
I must say that Lisa & Jon were one of the most darling couples I have ever had the pleasure of shooting. And their wedding was like a perfect storm. Stephen Gosling, my awesome 2nd shooter for the day commented that it was the most beautiful wedding he had ever seen. The threat of rain had nerves on edge early in the day but as soon as these two saw each other for the first time, none of the worry seemed important or worthwhile anymore. It could have stormed and rained all over these two (it didn’t) and I almost wonder if they would have even noticed. The mutual respect and total gaga admiration between Lisa & Jon was so apparent you almost felt like it was a tangible thing you could reach out and touch.
Lisa was probably one of the most excited brides I have ever seen…and Jon’s gentle, calm kindness cradled and reflected that excitement out into the world. These two just make you want to smile…and yes, Lisa…let’s be friends.
