Each year the lovely Horowitz Family sends out a Valentine's Day card and for the past 2 years I have been lucky enough to shoot it. Here is this year's image choice featuring Chloe & Jordan (& selected by Chloe & Jordan, mom won last year). Now their mother Joi loves to be creative with the text side of the card and this year she presented me with this magazine clipping as inspiration. I sent this to my fabulous associate photographer/ designer Jenni Green and she did a beautiful job translating it into a fun card design. Happy Valentine's Day everyone! xo

Anyway, I came to find out that Claudia is this incredible designer and writes a beautiful blog called The Color Connoisseur and I am honored to be featured as her first "creative of the month". So go have a look and leave some love for Claudia!
I made a comment on Twitter the other day about how it saddens me when I receive comments on album designs asking me to fill in all of the white spaces with pictures. Apparently this hit a chord with a bunch of people and my friend & fellow photographer Seshu asked me to guest blog on Tiffinbox about this very subject. So please go over and have a read if this interests you as a photographer or as a buyer of photography. So now I want to talk to you, my clients...past, present and future to address an issue that can tend to arise during the album design process. Here's how it usually goes. You make your image selections that you would like to see go into your wedding album and I put together a proof design for you based on what I feel is the best layout for the images
