Yes, I have been quite the busy little bee lately and as a result, I have been a very bad blogger…for quite some time now. So today I am very excited to bring you a wedding that I photographed over a month ago…one of my favorite weddings of all time, in fact. Kristen and Jon Paul were the most delightful and adorable couple to work with. We actually never met until the wedding day itself. They live in Atlanta, I live in LA, and they married in Palm Springs. It’s always great to get to know your clients ahead of time but after this many years in the business, I have a pretty keen sense from the first email if a potential client and I will love each other…and I knew right from the start that I had to work with these two.

If you have never been to The Parker in Palm Springs, CA…may I suggest carving out a weekend sometime to go check it out. It is truly a mid-century modern paradise…complete with 1960′s design by Jonathan Adler and it is aesthetically exquisite from every angle. I wish I could just move in and live there.

But enough drooling out of me, let’s get to some images. I have to blog this wedding in several parts since there is just so much to share…so here is part 1, Kristen’s bridal prep.

Check out this amazing textural gown by Melissa Sweet…love love love it!

The incredible Jose Neira did Kristen’s hair…the funny thing is that Jose also has a salon about 6 blocks from my house. I must go visit to say hello.

Flowers and event design by Joey Lizotte who couldn’t have possibly been more wonderful to work with.

Alright, I will be back soon with part 2. Thank you for reading.

NOTE: Please do not repost this wedding on any 3rd party or other wedding blogs. Thank you.
