Okay I know I’m way way behind on my blogging but I’m going to make an attempt to blog almost every day until I catch up. So the first thing to share is Alex & Jim’s gorgeous wedding which took place last month at the National Museum of Women in the Arts.
My day started over at the Hotel Monaco with Alex. Just getting there was crazy because of all of the protests. You name it, someone was pissed off and protesting about it and literally right in front of the Monaco, just my luck. Even the valet was shut down because of all of the madness…and I almost ran some lady over with my car…didn’t she know I was on my way somewhere very important? Anyway, after making it there in one piece, Kim and I got to spend the day was some really lovely people.
Some of the talented artists/ companies who helped to make the wedding day amazing were:
Hair: Giselle Chreky
Makeup: Kim Giammaria
Gown: Pronovias
Coordinator: Jessica Tremblay
Caterer: Design Cuisine
Florist: Petal’s Edge
Lighting: John Farr
Video: Monachetti
I loved these great pink shoes, why not have fun with your wedding day accessories, right? Even if your wedding is traditional, I like it when people include little details to make it more personalized.

These bracelets were a gift from Alex’s mother on the wedding day, gorgeous!

I love this portrait of Alex, she looked so gorgeous…and what eyelashes on this one!!!

The museum all set up for the ceremony

Had to grab a portrait of Jim looking very handsome

This was a cute moment during the ceremony following the ring exchange. You have to be ready every second to catch this sort of moment, they happen so fast.

The NMWA is a beautiful venue but it’s also very dark. But with the help of a little hand-held video light, we shot some dramatic portraiture incorporating the architecture of the building.

Design Cuisine did an impeccable job with the reception decor.

And everyone loves a dessert bar!!!

That’s all for now…check back soon.

I LOVE THESE! Can’t wait to shoot with you next month!!
Excellent photographs. Being in attendance and able to see all of this in person, you really did a great job of capturing the shots and making use of the natural/available lighting.
Real nice photos. I can’t wait to see more.
