Last weekend, Jenni and I drove down to Charlottesville, VA for the wedding of Liz and Chris, a wonderful couple who were referred to me by Maria & Andrew, whose wedding I shot in 2006. Anyway, since it was move-in day at UVA, Jenni and I decided to drive down a night early, stay in town and pretend we were in college again...or at least have some dinner and then a leisurely morning. Well the day of the wedding, we left our hotel amidst rain drops and some rather ominous looking clouds to head over to Keswick Hall. And although the outdoor ceremony had to be moved inside, it did clear up long enough for us to go outside for a few fun portraits and despite the dramatic weather, the wedding day went off without a hitch and was just gorgeous all around. Of course the weekend itself was not without

For those of you who don't know me, I got married last October. Of course my wedding was 10 months ago now but I just love weddings so much that I can't help but totally immerse myself in them and for that reason I read lots of wedding blogs. I even write one called The Unbride which is due for a relaunch any day now. But I like to visit other wedding bloggers whom I consider to be my internet friends even though I've never met most of them. So today I popped in to visit Style Me Pretty to see what was going on there. And what did I find? Me! :) My own wedding video by the very talented guys at Monachetti was featured today. So I sat there and watched it and relived that amazing day once again. So I figured why not share it here. If you
Well I'm in DC right now getting ready for a lovely wedding coming up this weekend in Charlottesville, VA this weekend. But before I left, there was a mad scramble to get some images from the wedding of my good friends Lisa and Roey (which I shot back in January along with my good friends from SOTA Dzine) to Rebecca from The Knot for this adorable little video interview they just posted. So go and have a look when you get a chance to hear all about Lisa & Roey's NYC winter wonderland wedding. Visit The Knot to watch the interview with Lisa and her wonderful planner, Amy Shey Jacobs of Chandelier Events. And stay tuned because it's going to be a busy weekend for me!
This wedding came to me through my great friend Kaylyn just about 10 days ago and when I spoke to Edward on the phone for the first time and he said Topanga Canyon, I knew it would be a fun one. So when I arrived at The Mountain Mermaid yesterday and saw the eye candy all around me, I had to spend a little time exploring and what a fabulous place it is as you'll see. Since Liz is a director and Edward is a cinematographer, every detail was exquisitely produced to create an incredible and whimsical bohemian atmosphere for their guests.
